BUDA
Siddhartha Gautama, with his corpulent
and smiling figure,
possessed a dignified and serene presence. Despite his robust body, his complexion was slender, and his
golden-toned skin reflected an inner tranquility. His oval face was framed by his black hair, which
he typically tied in a simple knot. His eyes were deep and
penetrating, capable of conveying a profound connection to those he looked
upon.
Siddhartha (BUDA) demonstrated deep empathy and a compassionate
nature from his youth. He was always
attentive to the emotions and internal struggles of the people around him. He
was a patient listener and capable of
offering words of comfort and wisdom in times of need. His mind was inquisitive, and his desire to
understand the purpose of life and human suffering led him to question
the teachings and traditions of his time.
The life of Siddhartha Gautama was marked by crucial moments that
ultimately led him to the path of enlightenment:
The Quest for Answers: Siddhartha
lived a life of comfort in his youth,
but the sight of suffering in the
streets of his kingdom deeply moved him. At the age of 29, he decided to leave behind
his luxurious life and seek
answers to the fundamental questions of existence.
The Abandonment of the
Palace: Leaving his home and family, Siddhartha
immersed himself in the life of a
hermit, practicing self-mortification and extreme austerity. However, he
realized that these extremes were not the
path to enlightenment either.
Teachings and Foundation of Buddhism: Buddha spent the rest of his life teaching
his discoveries through the
Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path. His teachings were based on understanding human suffering and
the pursuit of its cessation through wisdom, ethics, and meditation.
